Did you know that Sunday, September 13th is a National Grandparents Day?..
Frankly, I didn't. I only have one Grandma living, and she's thousands miles away -- in Russia -- and probably has no idea that here, in the US, Grandparents are recognized with a special day.
My kids' grandparents, on the other hand, are very close, they live just 15 minutes away and are always there if we need someone to watch the girls, and we want them to know how much we love them and appreciate everything they do for us. My daughters are coloring a special Grandparents Day coloring page from ChuckeCheese's, making collages with pictures and are going to bake cupcakes and throw a tea party for grandparents.
