Upromise: Get TRIPLE rewards for shopping at CVS

I just got another exciting email from Upromise: October 10th -24th get TRIPLE college savings rewards for purchasing participating items at CVS! All you have to do is register your ExtraCare card with Upromise (FREE!) and use it at CVS like you normally do when purchasing qualifying products. Easy as pie! :) And for some of them (Charmin TP for sure), Upromise even has e-coupons that you can load onto your card for extra savings!

Here's the list of participating products:

BIC® Razors
Clearasil® Facial Creams & Cleansers
Charmin® Bath Tissue and wipes
Elmer’s® Glue
Elmer’s® Paintastics
Hefty® OneZip® Storage
& Freezer Bags
Instant Krazy® Glue
Listerine® Smart Rinse™ Mouthwash
Listerine® AGENT CoolBlue™ Rinse

grocery items

Notice that Bic Soleil razors are on sale this week and earn you $4 in ExtraCare bucks, but it's the full price that is used to determine the amount of your college savings reward. ;) Also, if you are lucky and your CVS store has any of the school supplies left, Elmers glue was included in the clearance and should be 75%-90% off at most stores.

Upromise: $100 000 for college sweeps + eCoupons

Take the time to plan for your child's future.

I'm sure you're already a member of UPromise.com and every time you shop at your favorite grocery or drug store, up to 8% of qualifying purchases gets deposited into your college savings account. It doesn't cost you a dime - not even a penny! and the contributions are made based on sales price (before coupons and other promos). But did you know that every time you use your grocery or drugstore cards registered with Upromise, you are entered into their $100,000 sweepstakes?
You did?
Great!
But guess what I just received in my email?
They are now offering eCoupons that you can download to you cards and save at the stores in addition to manufacturer's and store coupons!
I am sooooo excited! (can you tell? :)) I shop a lot at CVS and between manufacturers', store coupons and Extra Care bucks I spend very little out of pocket, and almost every time I get something put into a UPromise.com account for my daughters' education. And now I'll be saving even more with their eCoupons! :) They say that offers change every month and I don't know if they are based on your prior purchases, but 15 out of 17 coupons I was offered were for products that we usually buy (our preferred brands, actually). And there's even a $5 coupon for Enfamil formula (my sis-in-law is going to love that - Enfamil hardly ever has coupons out, and this is the formula they use).

4 days left to get $10 in your college savings account ++

Remember my post about Upromise? Well, guess what? Not only they give you $10 for signing up before June 30th, but for a limited time they also give you $5 for each friend you refer. If you are already a member, check your email (or their website) and invite your friends. Saving for college could not be easier! :)

Save for college - easy!

Even though our oldest daughter is just in elementary school, we can't help thinking that we should be saving towards our girls' education. It may be hard to set aside some money that you could have used otherwise right here right now, but there's one program that puts a little something into your college savings account every time you shop - for FREE. I'm talking about Upromise.

You can register online, link your grocery store cards (there's a huge list of participating supermarkets!) and/or a credit card, and each time you buy something you'll get 1%-8% deposited in your Upromise account which you can use to pay for school-related expenses. A lot of brands and products that you probably buy regularly anyway - like Tylenol, or Ziploc, or Kraft foods (and 100s more!) are participating, so while you don't do anything extra you're saving for your kid's (or your own) education. You can also shop online and get credit for those purchases as well - how sweet is that?
If you are not a member already, now is a good time to join
as they are giving $10 sign up bonus right now! (I signed up with only $3 a couple of years ago and thought I was lucky! :)) I've been a member for about two years, and even though I only have CVS card linked to my account (and shop online through them occasionally), I have already saved a substantial amount - and it didn't cost me a dime! It's an added bonus on top of all my savings: Upromise gives you a %% of the product's full price (before coupons and other discounts).
